Our Story

Meet Sophie and Katharina; sisters Born In Berlin, Germany and who spent several of their early childhood years living in Namibia, Africa. Their Father moved his young family to the continent to serve as a pastor and missionary. The sisters were influenced by both their Father’s instinct to serve and the wild beauty of the African land and its people.

The magic of nature taught Kathrina and Sophie to honor and appreciate the contribution of animals in everyday life. Living with and among animals of all kinds they witnessed and learned the joy found in quiet moments and uncomplicated living.

Nearly thirty years ago the two sisters found their way to Minnesota, which is home to them and their families. Here Katharina and Sophie each enjoy physical exercise and the benefits found in the natural world. Often they can be found outdoors, hiking, biking and running with one of their six children.

Good nutrition and good physical health is an important part of the sister’s lifestyles. Respecting their bodies transfers to caring for others as well. Katharina and Sophie carry these virtues into their professional lives, guiding them to always operate honestly and ethically. And to ensure their brand reflects their values.

From their youngest years in Africa to present day, Katharina and Sophie have surrounded themselves with animals. Animals bring the sisters happiness, comfort and a sense of peace in a sometimes chaotic world. Between them Katharina and Sophie love on Two Bunnies, six Cats, a bird and a Horse; Each One A Reminder Of How Love Comes In All Shapes And Sizes.

In the summers both Sophie and Katharina travel to Europe visiting their brothers and Mother who reside in Salzburg, Austria. Their multi-cultural experiences throughout their lives have taught them that people are mostly the same; wishing for good things and aiming to do deeds that create harmony between all people and all living things.
